Out of the 3 torque arms that we offer from DNA Racing the “FAST ROAD” torque arm for the 500 Abarth is for the driver that is looking for the least amount of engine movement without the worry of increased NVH during your everyday driving.

The purpose of the torque arm is to reduce any shock loads from making their way back through the gearbox which can overload your gears and bearings in the process. Under hard acceleration and turning situations the engine and transmission have a lot of movement in the Abarth 500 which leads to lost torque and the reason for feeling a vague response from your vehicle under these conditions.

The “FAST ROAD” version of DNA Racing’s torque arm for the 500 Abarth fit a unique custom DNA/Powerflex molded 80 shore bushing to absorb vibrations while still reducing engine movement to aid getting all the power to the ground.
The special design that includes a bushing with holes allows us to get the best results in terms of performance and vibration reduction.
