DNA Racing Rear Adjustable Torsion Bar Kit
The FIAT 500 Abarth comes with a torsion bar that has very low torsional stiffness. This causes under-steering of the vehicle thus limiting performance. This kit allows us to increase up to 100% rigidity of the system making the attitude of the vehicle more “flat” and responsive to direction changes. The torsion bar is adjustable and allows us to obtain more or less over-steering depending on driving style and on circuit characteristics for your 500 Abarth.
This kit consists of:
- A three way adjustable torsion bar made in special sprung steel
- Two sets of stainless steel tie rods fitted on uniball motorsport-derived supports (which generally no one provides) and fitted with Nylon loaded “zero backlash” bearings
Materials: Silicon sprung steel
Finishing: Powder coated heavy duty epoxy paint in metallic gray
